Parkhill Imaging provides a wide range of sedated and non-sedated exams for children and adults, including musculoskeletal, neurologic, cardiac, ear nose and throat, oncology and genitourinary. We’re one of the few outpatient providers in the country that provides sedated imaging for children and adults from an onsite, board-certified anesthesiologist. Our facilities are equipped with the latest imaging hardware and software. We offer same-day availability for urgent needs and provide extra convenience for out-of-town patients.

CT-scan

A CT scan combines a series of X-ray images taken from different angles around your body and uses computer processing to create cross- sectional images of your bones, blood vessels and soft tissues. Our CT scanners feature 64-slice technology faster scanning, lower radiation exposure and more accurate imaging. Larger bores make scans more comfortable and accommodate a wider range of patients.

MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging is a noninvasive medical imaging technique that lets your doctor examine your organs, tissues and musculoskeletal system. Our facilities are equipped with the latest MRI equipment and software for shorter scan times and the highest- quality images. Our MRI machines have wide-bores for greater patient comfort and AIRTM Coil imaging pads that are light, flexible and easy to position. We offer MRI with 1.5T and 3T magnet strength for flexibility in meeting patient and physician needs.

Sedated imaging

Sedation with MRI and CT calms children and helps them remain still, relaxes adults with anxiety or claustrophobia, keeps adults with movement disorders motionless, and helps people with chronicpain or an injury lie flat. At Parkhill Imaging, we try to use the lowest level of sedation needed to make patients comfortable and achieve a successful exam result. This approach costs less, reduces side effects and shortens recovery time.

Digital X-ray

Digital X-rays replace traditional photographic film and chemical processing with digital X-ray sensors. Digital X-rays provide instant high-resolution results that are easier to examine and archive. They require significantly lower radiation exposure and are easier on the environment.
