Use of our Imaging, Surgery and Surgery+ Centers is open to all physicians who want the advantages of high-performance facilities designed with them in mind. For independent surgeons, proceduralists, anesthesiologists and other selected physicians who want to reap additional benefits, we offer affiliation with Parkhill Physician Group.
Parkhill Physician Group is an integrated physician network that gives these independent providers an alternative to employment by a health system or other large group practice. Our group-without-walls network model delivers the benefits of system affiliation and meets regulatory requirements for group practice and in-office ancillary services exceptions. And importantly, it sets the stage for a new reimbursement model that’s better for patients, fairer to physicians and more affordable for payers.
Parkhill is also establishing relationships with referring primary-care physicians and their accountable care organizations. By providing an opportunity to refer patients to lower-cost facilities, ACO members can earn shared-savings incentives available through government payers and health plans.
Parkhill Physician Group
Physician groups that join Parkhill retain their names and locations and identify as Parkhill Physician Group affiliates. All physicians are co-employed by their local group through Parkhill. By using our high-value facilities and meeting performance standards for clinical quality, cost control and patient satisfaction, Parkhill-affiliated specialists can reap the reward of professional fees that are approximately 30% higher than standard independent or independent practice association rates.
Parkhill provides each group with comprehensive management, revenue cycle, clinical integration and quality management services that enable us to secure risk-based payer contracts. The rate for these services is typically 7% to 10% of collections depending on the makeup of a physician’s practice. Maybe your group would benefit by becoming part of this family.
Partnership opportunities
Parkhill-aligned physicians and surgeons can invest in Parkhill facilities. Each of our centers is majority owned by physician investors and governed by a board and committees with physician members. All physician investors meet safe harbor requirements.
Business dealings are straightforward and transparent—with no physician-owned distributorships and no out-of-network anesthesia or ancillary services. An innovative series LLC structures offers investors a larger share of ownership and balances physician independence with network benefits of scale.
We can also create partnerships to bring contracts to other independent imaging or surgery centers. To make this happen, we’ll work with you to restructure your partnership to comply with our series LLC structure. You’ll gain full access to our favorable contracts in exchange for a small ownership position in your partnership.
